We eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: deadlift, clean, squat, presses, c&j, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: Pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits and holds. Bike, run, swim, row etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patters as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.

I’m almost 40 years old and feel like I’m 20 due to the influence of nutrition and CrossFit. I enjoy spending time with my wife, Rachel, and my son, Charles. I enjoy hiking, mountain biking, skiing, camping and any outdoor activities. I love to coach. Coaching is similar to being a leader and I believe I fit well into that role. I love to share everything I know with whoever is willing to listen and I’m a pretty good teacher as I have been coaching since I was in my teens. CrossFit makes sense to me and what I’m able to share with individuals is life changing to say the least.
